The Élancourt Hill, in Yvelines, will host the third round of the French MTB cross-country Cup from May 29 to 31, 2026. France's best mountain bikers are set to be there, and the event is free and open to everyone.

The colline d'Élancourt reopens for a weekend as one of France’s premier MTB hotspots. From Friday 29 to Sunday 31 May 2026, the Yvelines site (Yvelines (78)), renamed Stade olympique Pauline Ferrand-Prévot in homage to the champion crowned at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, will host the 3ᵉ manche de la Coupe de France de VTT cross-country, organized by the Fédération française de cyclisme in partnership with Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. And the good news is that access is entirely free.

Which riders are set to compete at the 2026 Élancourt MTB Cup?

It's hard not to recall the electric atmosphere of the summer of 2024, when improvised stands on the hillside hummed to Pauline Ferrand-Prévot's victory. This time, no Olympic Games, but a fantastic lineup all the same. Up to 300 riders per start are expected across all categories, from U15 to Elite and Masters, for both women and men, with nearly 110 official French and international teams in the paddock.

Among the names to watch, notably Loana Lecomte, a four-time French cross-country champion who crashed hard on this very course two years ago, and Joshua Dubau. Two more reasons to stake out a spot at the edge of the course.

What’s on the weekend’s race schedule?

Friday, May 29 is reserved for training. On Saturday, the Masters events kick off at 8:00 a.m., followed by the U19, U23 and U17 men's categories starting at 2:15 p.m. The grand finale arrives on Sunday, May 31 with the two Elite races on the Olympic course: the women go off from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the men from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Elite races are held on 100% of the Paris 2024 Olympic course, giving them a special significance.

What other activities are available on site?

Beyond the races, the pumptrack course will host activities all weekend, great for kids and adults alike. The food trucks will also be on hand, letting you refuel on site without leaving the venue.

The hill has changed a lot since its reopening in May 2025, after ten months of renovations. It now regularly attracts families and local clubs thanks to its mountain-bike trails, a pump-track open to rollers, BMX, and scooters, and its hiking paths. An Olympic legacy that clearly has found its audience.

The entrance is on Rue Alain-Colas in Élancourt. The event is organized by the French Cycling Federation in partnership with the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Agglomeration Community. All practical information is available on the official site lacollinedelancourt.fr.

Our take: a standout freely accessible sports program set in a venue that has proven itself. Whether you're a mountain biking enthusiast or simply curious, the atmosphere of a national outdoor competition is worth the trip. Especially recommended for families and nature-sports fans in the Yvelines.

Who is this for: mountain-biking and outdoor-sport enthusiasts, families with kids, and curious onlookers who want to attend a national competition for free.
