What better way to start the month ofOctober than with the unusual soap box race? Organized in the town of Dourdan, the event promises to be one of a kind!

How does a soap crate race work? Several teams race downhill at top speed, with the ultimate aim of taking victory and, with it, the title of best soapbox driver in Dourdan. A soapbox is a small, unpowered vehicle that moves solely on the force of gravity, so you'll find all kinds of soapboxes, from the upgraded supermarket cart to the little racer that looks just like a child's car.
