On October 4, 2019 will be held at the American Cathedral in Paris a Chopin special concert that will be candlelit.

To enjoy a unique moment, we recommend you save your October 4, 2019 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. As a matter of fact, a classic music and candlelit (!) concert will be performed that night at the American Cathedral in Paris.

Set near the Champs-Elysées, the American Cathedral in Paris welcomes many classic concerts. This building from the 19th century owns an atypical architecture: neogothic, it features 42 stained-glass windows, a covered gallery, an organ, an 85-m tower (which is one of the tallest in Paris!) and most of all the high ceiling measures 18 meters!

This is for this exceptional acoustic that the Chopin special classic music concert will be held on October 4. In a soft, intimate and polished atmosphere, only lit by candles, pianist Antonio Morant Albelda will have the mission to convey the beauty and the genius of Chopin’s compositions.

Detailed program:

  • Mazurka in B minor, Op. 33, No. 4 by F. Chopin
  • Waltz in E minor, Op. Posth by F. Chopin
  • Nocturne in D-flat major, Op. 27, No. 2 by F. Chopin
  • Hungarian Rhapsody, No. 6 by F. Liszt
  • Hungarian Rhapsody, No. 13 by F. Liszt
  • Pictures at an Exhibition by M. Mussorgsky

In other words, a fantastic experience!
