For a number of years now, metal music has been showcased at a number of festivals in France. These include Hellfest, a pioneer in the field, Motocultor in Brittany and Plane'R Fest. After a new edition in 2024 with the likes of Igorrr, Rise of the Northstar, Hanabie, Celeste, Eluveitie and Beast In Black, Plane'R Fest announces its return in 2025 with a new line-up likely to provoke pogos, slams and headbanging galore! Yes, this new edition of the"Rock in Montcul" festival promises to be just as beautiful and electrifying as its predecessors.
The proof is in the pudding. On July 4 and 5, 2025, get ready to see the famous heavy metal parody band Ultra Vomit live! The band, originally from Nantes, France, released a new opus on September 27. Entitled"Ultra Vomit et le Pouvoir de la Puissance" (Ultra Vomit and the Power of Power), the album features 17 new songs, as offbeat and powerful as ever. While Ultra Vomit is due to take over the Zénith de La Villette in 2026, the band will be stopping off in Colombier-Saugnieu beforehand, to make this 2025 edition of the Plane'R Fest shine.
