As always, the extreme-music festival has pulled out all the stops, with a host of talented artists on hand to get festival-goers bopping and slamming. So, who are the must-see performers on Friday? VREID - Temple / From 5.30pm to 6.20pm
Black metal - Norway

If you like Norwegian black metal, then head for the famous Temple stage late Friday afternoon. Vreid will be on hand to take us on a journey and hypnotize us with their unique, atmospheric, symphonic black metal. A set that promises to be as touching as it is powerful!

PAPA ROACH - Mainstage 2 / From 7.20pm to 8.20pm
Alternative metal - USA

Papa Roach, the kings of alternative metal, return to Hellfest with a not-to-be-missed set on Mainstage 2 on Friday June 16. What's on the bill? Hits galore, boundless energy, powerful riffs and the unmistakable voice of lead singer Jacoby Shaddix. This is also an opportunity for the band to revisit some of their latest tracks from the"Ego Trip" opus.

DEF LEPPARD - Mainstage 1 / From 8.25pm to 9.55pm
Hard rock - United Kingdom

DEF LEPPARD are undoubtedly one of the must-see bands at this year's Hellfest! 42 years after their recording debut, British combo Def Leppard are sure to put a smile on the faces of many Hellfest festival-goers, with a return to several of their legendary songs, as well as a performance of tracks from the excellent"Diamond Star Halos", released in 2022!

RANCID - Warzone / From 10.35pm to 11.35pm
Punk - USA

They're Americans, and they've been making punk music for over three decades! This summer, the keupons of Rancid intend to turn the Warzone upside down with their ultra-fast riffs and powerful beats. There's no doubt that Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman will be creating some raging pogos this Friday night at Hellfest!

SUM41 - Mainstage 2 / 0.50am to 2.00am
Punk rock - Canada

SUM41 are breaking up! All the more reason not to miss this famous Canadian punk rock band, who have been inundating us with joy for over 25 years now. Join the punk rock stars on Mainstage 2 at Hellfest on June 16, to relive some of their greatest songs live, and to bid them a fitting farewell!
