In 2025, the legendary Fête de l'Humanité returns to Base 217 in Essonne on September 12, 13 and 14. So how do you get there by public transport or by car? Here are a few practical tips for getting to Plessis-Pâté, the site of the Fête de l'Huma.

Remember: in 2022, regulars at the Fête de l'Huma were faced with a big change. Three years ago, France's biggest popular festival was moving. The Fête de l'Humanité left its historic site in Seine-Saint-Denis and moved much further south. The Fête de l'Huma had decided to settle in Essonne . The reason for the move? The holding of the Olympic Games, and the installation of the media village on theAire des Vents de Dugny, near La Courneuve.

The Fête de l'Huma had no choice but to leave this playground and land in Essonne on the former Base 217. This is the site that the Fête de l'Humanité will be invading for the fourth year running, on September 12, 13 and 14, 2025.

A change that is not without consequence for festival-goers, since this site is much further from the capital. So how do you get to Base 217 in Plessis-Pâté? Whether you opt for public transport, car or two-wheeler, here are a few practical tips for getting to the new Fête de l'Huma site!
