Combining mental health with pop music is the original idea behind the Pop & Psy festival, which returns to Paris from November 24 to 26, 2023. Throughout the festival, which is accessible free of charge on reservation, participants can exchange views on their mental health, through round tables, discussions and workshops. They can then unwind with several concerts and dj sets. The event takes place at Ground Control, a famous spot in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, near the Gare de Lyon.
The aim of this not-for-profit cultural and scientific event is to dispel preconceived ideas about psychiatry, but also to free speech and promote inclusion. The festival is the brainchild of psychiatrist Dr. Jean-Victor Blanc, journalist Florence Trédez andEmmanuelle Fellous. The Pop & Psy event is also supported by the Falret Foundation, which works to help people in psychological distress.
During these three days of festivities, you can exchange ideas with experts, sufferers and artists to highlight the innovative solutions that exist. In addition to round-table discussions and concerts, don't miss the graphic art exhibition, " Pop & Psy Icons - Fictions ", created by Kiblind.
The festival is free, but subject to availability. So don't forget to book.
