On Friday, February 13, 2026, La Seine Musicale will host the 41st edition of the Victoires de la Musique awards. While many trophies will be handed out to this year’s nominated artists, the event will also honor Greek singer Nana Mouskouri with a special "Honorary Victory."

After honoring the careers of Sylvie Vartan and Eddy Mitchell last year, the Victoires de la musique are celebrating this year Nana Mouskouri. "With 60 years of her career, over 1,600 songs in 21 languages, and 300 million records sold… Her voice has crossed borders, cultures, and generations, conveying messages of peace, freedom, and humanity. She will receive an honorary award in recognition of her extraordinary career at the upcoming Victoires de la Musique ceremony," the organizers announced on social media.

The Greek artist will be honored on Friday, February 13, 2026, during the prestigious and glamorous Victoires de la Musique awards ceremony, receiving a special achievement award!

Remember that Nana Mouskouri, now 91 years old, began her musical career in the 1950s. However, it was in the 1960s that she rose to international fame, thanks in large part to her distinctive voice, linguistic versatility, and stage presence. Recognized as one of the greatest voices in global music, she has authored numerous hits, including “Je chante avec toi Liberté” (1981), “Only Love” (1984), and “Plaisir d’amour” (1971). This winter, Nana Mouskouri will be honored with a lifetime achievement award—the “Victory of Honor”—celebrating her impressive and influential career.

Just a reminder that the 41st edition of the Victoires de la Musique will be broadcast live on February 13 from the Seine Musicale, airing on France 2 and France Inter starting at 9:10 PM.

Once again, the best of the French and Francophone scene is in the spotlight, with artists like Theodora, who leads the nominations this year, along with other big names such as Vanessa Paradis, Orelsan, Disiz, Helena, and Miki.
