While summer is a prime season for music festivals, autumn is just as generous. One might think these musical events—outdoors or not—take a break once the sunny days are over. But that would be a mistake. Indeed, music festivals continue into autumn, to the great delight of live music fans.
Also, several music festivals light up the capital each autumn; naturally we think of the famous Pitchfork Music Festival and its razor-sharp lineup that each year fills multiple Paris venues such as the Trabendo, the Trabendo, the Élysée Montmartre and the Badaboum.
Other eagerly awaited musical events in the Paris region? Saint Germain en live, which, as its name suggests, offers a series of concerts in different venues in this Parisian town, as well as the Primeurs de Massy, where new talents enchant the Essonne department, the Les Femmes s'en mêlent festival, dedicated to the female scene, and not forgetting the Festival de Marne, which concocts a host of tasty concerts in this Île-de-France department every autumn!
