Here we go again! The new edition of the festival "Les Femmes s’en mêlent" is set to return to Paris and elsewhere in Île-de-France (Montreuil, Argenteuil, Clichy, Rambouillet, Ris-Orangis and Ivry-sur-Seine) from October 30 to November 29, 2026, with a lineup of concerts at the Maroquinerie, at L'Archipel, at the Point Éphémère and, of course, at the Bal Chavaux. What's in store for this edition? A new season rich with discoveries of fresh female musical gems!
Let us recall that since its inception in 1997, the festival Les Femmes s'en mêlent has hosted big names: Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth, Brigitte Fontaine, Maria McKee of Lone Justice, Mona Soyoc of Kas Product, Anne Clark, Elli Meideros, as well as numerous newcomers making their first appearances: Emilie Simon, Cat Power, Feist, Metric, Yelle, CSS, MIA, Regina Spektor, Daphné, Ebony Bones, Austra...
We anticipate that this new edition will surely measure up to the previous ones, if not exceed them, as the festival once again confirms its legitimacy by underscoring its eclectic, forward-looking nature. With the ongoing aim of offering a wide cultural panorama where femininity is not a single entity but a plurality, the festival reaffirms its values and originality by continually championing plurality, rigor, and solidarity.
And to get straight to the point, this 2026 edition of the festival Les Femmes s’en mêlent once again promises a host of striking visual and sonic surprises. Proof: the festival invites you to come cheer the American rock band Death Valley Girls, the Canadian Abigail Lapell, the pop duo Metro Verlaine, the self-taught artist Anaïs Rosso, and the Amsterdam-origin duo Baby Berserk.
