For its 25th anniversary, the Les Femmes s'en mêlent festival is pulling out all the stops! This autumn's musical event, scheduled to take place in Paris and Montreuil, features Kim Gordon as headliner! Mark your calendars: the American musician and singer, ex-member of Sonic Youth, will be taking over L'Elysée Montmartre on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Needless to say, Kim Gordon's show in Paris is likely to fill up fast, so don't delay in booking your tickets.

For younger members of the group, Kim Gordon was one of the leading figures behind Sonic Youth. Sonic Youth, a seminal band from the New York scene, left their mark on the late 80's and 90's with a style that blended experimental rock, noise rock and post-punk. In 2011, after 30 years of existence, Sonic Youth split up following the divorce of Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore, the band's iconic couple.

Since then, the members have each pursued their own individual projects. After a first solo opus,"No Home Record", released in 2019, Kim Gordon unveils"The Collective" on March 8, 2024. With this new and second opus, the American artist continues to break genre codes and boxes, blending punk, electro, spoken-word poetry, trap and noise.

After a set at the Bois de Vincennes as part of the last edition of We Love Green, the pioneer of the post-punk movement announces her return to Paris. This time, Kim Gordon will meet her fans at L'Elysée Montmartre on October 23, 2024 for a unique show to mark the 25th anniversary of the Les Femmes s'en mêlent festival. Kim Gordon had already taken part in this musical festival in March 2001. 23 years later, the artist returns to the festival for a unique date not to be missed!
