The Sonore Festival is back at the Théâtre Silvia Monfort in Paris’s 15th arrondissement, from November 6 to 8, 2026. This third edition brings concerts closer together with shorter formats, and includes a family day on Sunday.
On Fridays, Fanfort kicks off the weekend in the garden, with free admission. At 8:30 p.m., drummer and composer Anthony Laguerre joins the Strasbourg Percussion Ensemble for Myotis V, a new work where amplified drum vibrations meet noise rock.
On Saturday at 8 p.m., the Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp marks its 20th anniversary. This ensemble blends strings, brass, marimbas, and drums, straddling folk, jazz, and rock. The evening opens with the solo Myotis by Anthony Laguerre. Three headphone-friendly musical interludes, composed by Thomas Nguyen, precede the main concert at 5:30 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.
Sunday is branded as Kids Sonore. At 4 p.m., La Vie bien accordée de Rémy Pinson reveals how music can transform the everyday life of a man. Written by Néry Catineau with a score by Thomas Nguyen, the piece is carried by a narrator, a whistler, and a string quintet. This fifty-minute tale is aimed at children from age five.
Concert tickets run from 5 to 20 euros, with Sunday pricing capped at 15 euros. The musical nap costs 5 euros; fanfares remain free to attend. A whistling workshop is also on offer Sunday at 2 p.m., free with advance booking, provided you’ve bought a ticket for the storytelling session.
