Did you miss her? She's back! After several years of absence, Emilie Simon announces her return to the stores and on stage. As for concerts, the French author, composer and performer of electronic music is waiting for her fans in Paris this fall for a unique concert scheduled on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Cité de la Musique. Before that, Emilie Simon will warm up her voice during several shows scheduled in festivals (Printemps de Bourges, Festival de Poupet, Francofolies de La Rochelle...).
During this new tour, Emilie Simon will take the opportunity to celebrate (already) the 20th anniversary of her first eponymous album, awarded a Victoire de la Musique in 2004 (best electronic, groove and dance music album of the year). To celebrate this anniversary, the artist unveils the new version of her hit " Desert " that she has completely re-produced and rearranged.
This complete rework of the eponymous album of Emilie Simon is to be discovered in stores from April 14, 2023 and live very soon. For Parisian fans, see you on October 19th at the Cité de la Musique. Remember, Emilie Simon had squatted at the Philharmonie de Paris - just next door - in 2012 to perform her album"Franky Knight" (soundtrack of the movie"La delicatesse").
We recall thatEmilie Simon has published no less than 8 opuses, including the opus"Végétal", also awarded a Victoire de la Musique, but also the sublime album"La Marche de l'empereur", mythical soundtrack of the documentary of the same name, and also winner of a Victoire de la Musique in 2006.
