This year marks the 60th anniversary ofÉdith Piaf's death. With her timeless songs that took the world by storm, Édith Piaf left an indisputable mark on French history and popular culture. This autumn, several events around " la môme Piaf " are being organized in Paris.
On Friday October 27 and Saturday October 28, 2023, the Folies Bergère present " Chimène Badi chante Piaf " . For two days, the singer who made her name in 2002 thanks to her participation in the M6 TV show Popstars, will pay a vibrant musical tribute to Édith Piaf, performing several of her many masterpieces.
Chimène Badi released her first opus,"Entre nous", in 2003. Marked by the eponymous hit, the album quickly went platinum. Since then, the artist has released 7 other opuses, including the latest"Chimène chante Piaf". Released in January 2023, Chimène Badi 's eighth studio album features covers of songs by Édith Piaf, including " Non, je ne regrette rien ", " Padam, padam...", " Mon dieu ", " Milord ", " La Vie en rose ", " Mon manège à moi " and " Hymne à l'amour ".
