Akon is a singer, producer, entrepreneur and actor. Now 50, the artist is known for having dominated the Billboard charts on several occasions, with tracks ranging from R&B/Hip-Hop to EDM Dance and Pop.

With 5 albums to his name, Akon is also famous for having founded no less than three major record companies (Konlive, Konvict Kulture and KONVICT Music), which have launched the careers of T-Pain, Lady Gaga and Kardinal Offishall.
