Joe Hisaishi in concert at Paris La Défense Arena: the musical program

It's one of the capital's not-to-be-missed musical events this spring! This Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, 2024, the Paris La Défense Arena opens its doors to the immense Joe Hisaishi. A composer of genius, the Japanese conductor will take to the stage of Europe's largest arena for two symphonic concerts in which he will lead London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, made up of 250 musicians and choristers! Needless to say, these two musical evenings are bound to be a real thrill!

The prestigious philharmonic orchestra will be performing several musical masterpieces by Joe Hisaishi, composed for the animated films of Hayao Miyazaki. These include " Princess Mononoke " and " My Neighbor Totoro ", as well as " Castle in the Sky" and " Chihiro's Journey "... In all, this musical experience in the presence of Joe Hisaishi will highlight the sublime music of 10 of Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli films... all during a symphonic concert lasting over 2 hours!
