Lou Trotignon, a 26-year-old comedian, presents his show Mérou at Théâtre Saint Georges, every Monday at 8pm until April 28. The comedian defines himself as "a non-binary trans guy" and offers a gentle, engaging show about his personal story.
Lou Trotignon, a reserved child, discovered theater at the age of 7. As a teenager, he memorized sketches from the Jamel Comedy Club, which confirmed his desire to perform on comedy stages. After several experiences, which he recounts in Mérou au Théâtre Saint Georges, Lou Trotignon tells his personal story of transition with humor.
The name of the show is taken from the bird called the Grouper, a fish that has the ability to change sex during its existence. Lou Trotignon created his show around this phrase: "Since the Grouper changes gender, why not Lou? In this engaging show, Lou takes up questions we all ask ourselves: are we obliged to be what we've been told to be? Can we reinvent our bodies and our relationship with love? Would it then be possible to rewrite our own history? A question he explores with you in a humorous tone. Lou Trotignon is on stage at Théâtre Saint-Georges, every Monday at 8pm!
