Animal Triste 's raw, effective rock is coming to Paris this spring. The band from Normandy will be welcoming their fans to La Maroquinerie for a unique concert on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The six-member band will take the opportunity to defend their third album live. Entitled"Jéricho", the opus follows on from"Night of the Loving Dead", released in 2022.
For this third studio album, Animal Triste didn't do things by halves, teaming up with the talented Alain Johannes. The renowned American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is best known for having collaborated with such prestigious artists as Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Brody Dalle, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey and Them Crooked Vultures with John Paul Jones, Dave Grohl and Josh Homme. And that's just the beginning! This time, Alain Johannes lent his vocals and guitars to two tracks, including " River of Lies ".
But Animal Triste also received support from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club member Peter Hayes on the track " Rearview Mirrors ", and from Comédie Française actress Marina Hands on " Jericho ".
The"Jericho" album is also marked by several other equally successful tracks, such as " Homecoming King " and " Avé Satan ", a kind of rock chimera that hypnotizes us right up to the last second.
After their appearance on the Firestone stage at Rock en Seine in 2022, Animal Triste will be taking over La Maroquinerie in Paris on April 29, 2025. A not-to-be-missed show for all rock fans, and one to be booked without delay.
