Here’s a show that should thrill Radiohead fans! Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien, the renowned guitarist of the British band, is gearing up to take the stage for a European solo tour. On the program for this evening billed as "An Evening with Blue Morpho"? No more than seven concerts. And good news, because this intimate tour will stop this autumn in Paris. Save the date: catch Ed O’Brien on stage at the Salle Pleyel on Thursday, 8 October 2026. The English musician also plans to base himself in Amsterdam, Milan, Berlin, Hamburg or London. One tip: don’t miss the ticket-office opening this Thursday, 2 April at 10:00.
Ed O’Brien will use the moment to unveil live his new, second solo studio album, titled "Blue Morpho". Due out May 22, 2026, the record spans a range of sounds, from psych-folk to trip-hop, as reflected in the eponymous track "Blue Morpho".
For this limited European tour with only a handful of dates, Ed O'Brien will be supported by a collective of musicians who took part in the album's recording, including Dave Okumu and ESKA. Austrian singer-songwriter and producer Dave Okumu is best known as the frontman of The Invisible. He has also collaborated with a host of artists, such as Jessie Ware, Amy Winehouse, St. Vincent, Anna Calvi, and even Jane Birkin and Brigitte Fontaine. On the other hand, ESKA is a London-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. After working with Grace Jones, Kae Tempest, and Baxter Dury, ESKA now partners with Ed O'Brien, broadening his artistic range even further.
Together, they’re set to debut live for the first time the album "Blue Morpho". A unique musical moment not to be missed on October 8 at the Salle Pleyel.
