[Editor's note: this feedback was written by a passionate reader!] This year, the Yard collective, founded by theOfive team (organizers of the Flammes ceremony) and proud spokespeople for French urban culture, invited us to the second edition of their Parisian festival.
Hosted once again by theVincennes racecourse, Yardland' s themes were benevolence, inclusivity, commitment and the celebration of an entire culture conveying these values.
And the party was on! Despite the capricious weather at the end of the weekend and the heavy festival schedule, the public, artists and volunteers were all equally motivated to celebrate this major musical event together.
Good vibes reigned in Yardland. Festival-goers all seemed to be enjoying the moment. The three stages, the many creative stalls andassociations of all kinds, and the quality food courts made for a great three days of sharing.
The volunteers did a great job of keeping the place clean. The cashless and deposit system for all drinks kept queues moving, confirming the organizers' commitment to the environment.
And of course, most importantly, the music was also honored. The program was rich, diverse and international. We were treated to some fine shows.
My special mention goes to Mairo and Meryl, who each demonstrated their talent and energy in rallying their audiences and setting the stage alight.
Yardland has delivered on its commitment to quality and inclusion, and we'd like to thank them for that.
Ps: I'd also like to thank the Sortir à Paris team for sending me there as a reporter for a weekend, and allowing me to publish this article.
