Pink Floyd: pop-up store opens in Paris for the 50th anniversary of "Wish You Were Here"

On September 12, 1975,Pink Floyd released their ninth studio album, "Wish You Were Here." Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, "Wish You Were Here" consists of five tracks, including "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," "Have a Cigar," and the title track. 

This year, Pink Floyd's legendary album celebrates its 50th anniversary! To mark the occasion, the British band has announced the opening of pop-up stores in the United Kingdom, Europe, and America, in partnership with News & Coffee, an independent coffee roaster and magazine distributor. The cities of London, Los Angeles, Barcelona, and Paris, as well as Berlin and Milan, will host these pop-up stores, which will be located in kiosks.

So what can we expect? In a message posted on social media, Pink Floyd announced that "every News & Coffee store will be transformed into a space dedicated to 'Wish You Were Here 50'." Fans will be able to pick up an exclusive, numbered, strictly limited edition of " Wish You Were Here 50 " from Brain Damage fanzine, with an exclusive cover for each city. The pop-up stores in London, Los Angeles, Barcelona, and Paris will also offer a "small selection of commemorative merchandise," as well as an anniversary pressing of " Wish You Were Here," available in an exclusive limited edition (white vinyl).

The British band has specified that the vinyl records and fanzine will be availablein"very limited quantities." Fans and collectors are therefore advised to visit this Parisian pop-up store as soon as possible. So when and where will this temporary space dedicated to the 50th anniversary ofWish You Were Here open in Paris? To discover this exclusive kiosk, head to the 11th arrondissement on December 12, 2025, more precisely to128 Boulevard Voltaire. The space will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Note that the opening of these pop-up stores in several cities around the world follows the announcement of a special edition for the 50th anniversary of the album "Wish You Were Here," featuring previously unreleased versions of classic tracks. This album, " Wish You Were Here 50," is set to be released on December 12 in a deluxe box set.
