An announcement eagerly awaited by many. The phenomenon series "KPop Demon Hunters" is set to hit the road worldwide for a string of concerts. The news was shared by the platform Netflix on May 13. "Netflix teams up with AEG Presents to launch a global KPop Demon Hunters concert tour, a live experience that will spectacularly bring to life the elements of the film which earned two Oscars," the release reads.
For now, no official date has been announced. It remains unclear whether this upcoming global tour of the KPop Demon Hunters will stop in Paris, or even when ticket sales will open. Netflix has also not disclosed which artists will head out on tour for the occasion. But fans of the hit series are invited to sign up on the event site to learn more.
The series "KPop Demon Hunters" follows the story of Huntr/x, a K-pop girl group that leads a double life as demon hunters, chasing the Saja Boys. "KPop Demon Hunters" quickly became a global sensation, to the point of being Netflix's most-watched title in its history.
In October of last year, the three singers voicing the characters of the group Huntr/x made their very first TV appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show. Bridging fiction and reality, the trio — comprised of artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — performed for the occasion their hit "Golden". Drawn from the film’s soundtrack, the track shot to No. 1 for several weeks across the globe. Since then, it has snagged the Grammy Award for "Best Original Song for Visual Media". Riding the wave of success, a sequel series titled "KPop Demon Hunters" has been announced, with a release slated for 2029.
