Nine years after "Ouï", Camille is gearing up to unveil "The Sound of Milk". For this new musical project, the artist is betting on originality, both in her creative process and in its triptych form. The opus comprises 'Birth' (2015), a sonic diary, 'Childhood' (2020), a pocket musical, and 'Adolescence' (2025), a pop album.
As she gears up to unveil her new opus in the fall of 2026, Camille invites fans to come listen in advance "Naissance", the first installment of her upcoming triptych album, "The Sound of Milk". Recorded between 2010 and 2015 at her family home in Gascony, this debut opus "is made up of water, air, breaths, sighs, lullabies, nursery rhymes and melodies".
Want to be among the first to see the result? These listening sessions will run from May 29 to June 1, 2026 in a room built for sound, the 37dB room at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris."The installation will also reveal the project’s visual through a photo by Sophie Calle, which offers a feminine gaze on its theme, a commission from Camille to her photographer friend, announces the Palais de Tokyo.
Running 32 minutes, this sonic experience is accessible upon presentation of an exhibition ticket, during the Palais de Tokyo’s opening hours. In addition, special listening sessions are planned for this Thursday evening, May 28, including an acoustic showcase. Unfortunately for late arrivals, both sessions are sold out.
We recall that Camille will hit the road starting in fall 2026. In Paris, the singer will perform at the iconic Olympia on February 1 and 2, 2027.
