Fans of System of a Down are primed and ready! The unmissable metal act is set to play two shows this week at Stade de France. Unfortunately for latecomers, both SOAD performances are sold out.
It must be said that the band led by Serj Tankian hasn’t played in the capital since 2017. At the time, the American group thrilled fans at the Download Festival Paris. So, for this grand comeback, System of a Down is going big and taking over France’s largest stadium twice!
To mark the moment, a pop-up store, unveiling exclusive merch for the band, will open from July 1 to July 5 in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. And that's not all. Live Nation France also announces a series of pre-shows at a renowned rock bar in the capital. The dates are from July 2 to July 4 at the Dr Feelgood Rocket, just a short walk from Place de la Bastille. The perfect gathering for SOAD fans to meet up ahead of the concerts scheduled for July 2 and 4. But the band’s admirers can also drop by Dr Feelgood Rocket on July 3, to chat about the previous night’s show.
For the occasion, Live Nation France says there will be games and a karaoke session. The luckiest may even walk away with a ticket to one of the two Paris shows. And naturally, System of a Down's music should shake the walls of the bar.
If you didn’t manage to snag the prized pass to one of SOAD’s two Stade de France shows, here’s the perfect chance to soak up the fan atmosphere anyway. Head to the bar Dr Feelgood Rocket from July 2 to 4, 2026 to experience these pre-shows!
