One thing's for sure, Jonathan Davis's outfit should electrify the Parisian venue in the 12th arrondissement this Friday night. The famous American nu-metal band stops in the capital as part of its European tour, which also includes stops in Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, Berlin, and Milan.

But before crowd-surfing to Korn's many hits, two bands will help steadily raise the temperature ahead of Jonathan Davis and his crew taking the stage. So, who are they? What are the opening acts for the start of Korn's European tour? Architects and Youth Code have been chosen to kick off the festivities in Paris, and in several other cities across the Old Continent.

Architects and Youth Code, Korn's two opening acts in Paris

We open with Architects. The British metalcore outfit formed in 2004 around twins Dan and Tom Searle, who sadly passed away in 2016 at just 28. Despite that harrowing setback, Architects pressed on. Led since 2007 by frontman Sam Carter, the band has released 11 studio albums to date, including The Sky, the Earth & All Between, which arrived in 2025.

In recent years, the high-octane band from Brighton has been racking up shows. In the capital, the members of Architects have already taken the stages of the Zénith de La Villette and the Porte de la Chapelle. Architects even had the opportunity to open for Metallica on several dates during the M72 tour, and to take the stage at the Stade de France in spring 2025.

This autumn, Architects are making their return to Paris as the opening act for Korn this time! And the British band is determined to whip up a few circle pit and pogos.

Another act lined up to perform at Paris Bercy on October 23 ahead of Korn's arrival? Youth Code. This American EBM duo, formed in 2012, is made up of Sara Taylor and Ryan George.

Following a self-titled debut album in 2013, Youth Code unveiled its sophomore LP, Commitment to Complications, in 2016, which features the single Anagnorisis. Since then, the duo has released a third record, A Skeleton Key in the Doors of Depression with King Yosef, as well as the single No Consequence and the EP Yours, With Malice.

Just like Architects, Youth Code has already opened for several other renowned acts, including the Swedish hardcore outfit Refused. This Friday night, the duo Youth Code will take the stage at Paris Bercy as the opening act for Korn, and they’re ready to show what they’re made of!
