Jann Halexander sings Catherine Ribeiro: free concert in Paris in November

With ÂmeS Debout, Jann Halexander dedicates a concert to the repertoire of Catherine Ribeiro. The Edmond Rostand media library is hosting this performance as part of the Monte le Son festival, whose Ô féminins edition celebrates women in music.

The singer will be accompanied by Bertrand Ferrier on piano and Sébastyen Defiolle on guitar. This interpretive work follows several concerts already devoted to Catherine Ribeiro, notably in Paris and Triel-sur-Seine. It presents these songs in an ensemble featuring voice, piano and guitar.

A leading figure in French-language song, Catherine Ribeiro was known for such tracks as Paix and Soleil. By revisiting her repertoire, Jann Halexander continues along a path that has also led him to songs by Anne Sylvestre and Pauline Julien.

This event is part of the music program at Paris libraries: a chance to discover or revisit this repertoire at a free concert.
