The World of Hans Zimmer: A New Dimension at Bercy

In recent years, the music of great composers has often taken center stage at dedicated events. On Monday, November 2, 2026 at 8:00 PM, Bercy, in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, will host The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension. Conceived by Hans Zimmer, this concert reimagines his film scores in arrangements for orchestra, choir, and soloists.

Is it really necessary to introduce this towering German composer behind the scores for The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Da Vinci Code, The Dark Knight, Inception and Interstellar, and more recently for Dune and Top Gun : Maverick? A collector of Oscars, Grammys and Golden Globes, Hans Zimmer is arguably the most famous film-score composer of our era!

After performances at La Seine Musicale in 2024, The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension returns to Île-de-France as part of its 2026 tour. At Bercy, conductor Matt Dunkley leads the Odessa Orchestra & Friends and the Nairobi Chamber Chorus, joined by soloists drawn from the composer’s own team. Projections and a dynamic lighting design accompany the musical arrangements.
