"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". She didn't say it, Leonardo da Vinci did. For her first show, Victoria is thinking big. She's proposing an American-style show on a fairground budget. She wants to achieve perfection, but doesn't know how much is 8 x 9. She tries her hand at stand-up, playing characters instead. She covers famous melodies, but with unfamiliar lyrics. She's been told to"keep it simple", and she hasn't succeeded.

Victoria Pianasso is an artist who uses both characters and songs to explore and express a range of contradictions and questions. In her work, she challenges traditional notions of femininity and aggression, asking whether it's possible to be both at the same time. She also questions the role of honesty and authenticity in society, wondering if the world would be a better place if we wore all our flaws on our sleeves.
