Escales d'Ailleurs Festival at Château de Plaisir, a program of free shows and concerts

This Saturday, June 10, 2023, we're off to the Festival Escales d'Ailleurs at the Parc du Château de Plaisir in the Yvelines. From 2pm to midnight, the park lights up and welcomes you to the 19th edition of this festival. It's a cultural event not to be missed, combining music, circus, street art, games, dance and world cuisine. What's more, admission is free!

Concerts:

• 4pm: Local band Möön open the ball with their pop-rock music.
• 5:30 p.m.: The Conservatoire performs an anthology of Cuban music.
• 6:15pm: Bonga, icon of Angolan music.
• 8:15 p.m.: Les Hurlements d'Léo celebrate 25 years of music and travel with politically committed songs.
• 9:30pm: Alma Solar presents a new show with Brazilian-flavored compositions.
• 10:15pm: Jupiter & Okwess close with afro funk.
  

Strolling:

• Between 3:15pm and 11:30pm, the Caramantran company and The Green Line Marching Band will liven up the aisles.
  

Games and entertainment:

• Pony rides
• A merry-go-round
• An 8-meter tower for jumping and climbing
• Wooden games from Africa and Oceania
• An island for the little ones
• A music box
• Introduction to archaeological digs

Dance:

• Local dance associations and the Conservatoire take to the château stage to present their varied choreographies.
  

Circus and street arts:

• Nearly a dozen companies will enliven the day, with performances including juggling, acrobatics and illusionism.
