The Mises en Capsules Theater Festival returns to Montmartre for its 16th edition. From May 2 to June 8, 2024, you can attend 16 30-minute creations at the Théâtre Lepic .
Created in 2006, the festival has quickly become a success thanks to the participation of big names such as Sarah Forestier and Philippe Laudenbach . Every evening, from Monday to Saturday, the Festival presents five different 30-minute shows. Audiences are treated to a series of short plays, with a 15-minute intermission between each.
Since 2006, over 200 shows have been created andmore than 1,000 people have taken part in the adventure, including Camille Cottin, Pierre Niney, Jonathan Cohen, Alexis Michalik and many others. Shows created in short form for the Festival are, each year, staged in long form for the Festival d'Avignon or to be performed in Paris, such as Turing's Machine. The Festival has a real desire to enable artists to experiment and create new things.
