Lilo Baur directs La Souricière at the Comédie-Française from June 4 to July 13, offering a captivating theatrical thriller in a new translation.

Lilo Baur returns to Comédie-Française for her seventh staging of a lesser-known work byAgatha Christie, The Mousetrap. First performed in London in 1952, this play is considered one of the classics of detective drama. This breathtaking, suspenseful mystery takes place in a snowbound inn, where travelers find themselves trapped with a murderer in their midst. The staging promises to bring out the subtleties of the text and the dramatic intensity of the "Queen of Crime"'s writing.

A snowstorm at a young couple's newly opened inn prevents them from going out. Guests arrive one by one, each wearing clothes similar to those described in a wanted poster for a recent murder. The arrival of a ski inspector upsets the atmosphere: a map of the inn has been found at the crime scene, with a message announcing other murders.
