On m'a trouvé grandie: magic and mystery at La Grande halle de la Villette

With On m'a trouvé grandie, Compagnie 14:20, a pioneer of newmagic , explores the borderline between the real and the supernatural. Director Valentine Losseau draws on a little-known aspect of medical history to tell the story of Madeleine, a mysterious patient admitted to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in 1896. Claiming to be subject to episodes of levitation, she attracts the attention of a doctor fascinated by unexplained phenomena and convinced that he can cure these disorders through hypnosis.
