From May to July 20252025, Yvelines Théâtre travels the length and breadth of the département, offering residents a free, itinerant cultural experience. Supported by the Conseil départemental des Yvelines, this program supports local professional companies and promotes local access to culture. Each evening becomes an artistic stopover, from Villepreux to Montesson, via Trappes, Chevreuse, Magnanville and Mantes-la-Jolie.
The richness of the program is surprising: classical theater, contemporary creation, clowning, children's shows, immersive performances... All proposals have been chosen on the basis of a call for projects, with criteria that emphasize scenic writing, territorial awareness and logistical flexibility. Among the companies on the bill: the Compagnie des Miracles with "Abricadebara", an ecological show for children; Le Klou with "Les Acharnistes", a poetic clown duo; Pixom and its "Temps des Humains", a futuristic museum visit tinged with absurdist humor; and Princesse Moustache with a new take on "The Snow Queen".

Designed as a cultural democratization initiative, Yvelines Théâtre guarantees free access to all its performances, with adapted audience sizes. Meetings, workshops and discussions often extend the experience. The département also provides technical support to partner municipalities to ensure a warm welcome.
This operation showcases the artistic energy of Yvelines, in a flexible, inclusive and committed way. It provides a stage for companies that are often overlooked, and fosters a renewed link between local residents and contemporary creation.
