Pepemauro sets out on a journey across Italy and France in search of his cousin. He shares stories of his travels, his adventurous escapades, his dreams, and his philosophical musings on life and the challenges faced by a Calabrian navigating Paris.

Stefano Mauro, actor and musician, takes the stage solo. He blends theatrical texts, improvisation, and original songs performed on his guitar. Regularly, he invites the audience to join him in sharing his passion for the Calabrian language and music.
The performance also features amusing and educational Italian lessons, as well as dedicated segments celebrating the Calabrian dialect.
He approaches with warmth and self-deprecating humor the themes of migration, integration, family, legacy, and the feeling of belonging.
With a direct appeal to the audience and a heartfelt, accessible writing style, it turns a personal experience into a universal story that everyone can see themselves in.

Stefano Mauro, a graduate of the International Academy of Performing Arts in Versailles, collaborates with several theater companies, including Aller-Retour-Théatre, La Divine Comédie, Insolence is Beautiful, and Divina Comedy Show. In film, he has worked alongside Luc Besson and Fred Cavayé. He was a finalist at the Zelig Festival and has taken part in eight editions of the Avignon Off Festival.
His journey reflects a consistent desire to foster cultural dialogue, with a focus on human connection, , and emotion at the very heart of his creations.
He composes and releases his songs on streaming platforms under his stage name, Pepemauro.
"My Italian Cousin" is a one-man show that blends humor, emotion, and social commentary into a captivating performance.
