The company La fidèle idée presents Chapitres de la chute at Citéco on December 3, 2026, and January 7, 2027, at 7 p.m. Two parts about the Lehman empire, each of which can be seen separately; the November 5 performance is sold out.

Chapters of the Fall, The Lehman Brothers Saga tells the story of a family and its financial empire on stage. At the Cité de l’Économie, in Paris’s 17th arrondissement, the company La fidèle idée presents the second and third parts of Stefano Massini’s epic on December 3, 2026, and January 7, 2027, at 7 p.m. The first part, scheduled for November 5, is sold out.

Directed by Guillaume Gatteau, the production traces the transformation of the Lehman company from a trading business into a bank. The installment on December 3 spans the years from 1890 to 1929, as the family expands its activities to Wall Street and plays a part in the development of American industry. The one on January 7 takes the story from the 1929 crash to the 2008 financial crisis.

Each performance can be enjoyed on its own: a brief introduction brings audiences up to speed on the characters and events of previous episodes. Philippe Bodet, Emmanuelle Briffaud, Zoé Siân Gouin, Frédéric Louineau and Sophie Renou make up the cast, joined by Guillaume Gatteau for the final installment.

The second part runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes, divided into three 45-minute episodes with intervals. The third runs for 2 hours, in two episodes separated by an interval. Both evenings are recommended for ages 14 and up, with tickets priced at €10 full price and €5 at the reduced rate.
