The entrance is a little hidden: you have to pass through the large wooden door at 37, rue de Turenne to enter a flower-filled building courtyard and, at last, catch a glimpse of the Maif Social Club. On the right-hand wall is engraved the chronological history of this reinvested former warehouse, then you're greeted by a sort of lounge made up of various sofas that seem to be issuing an invitation: relax!
The space is bright and airy. The first works in the freeexhibition and the specialized library are immediately visible. Here you'll find a selection of feel-good books that analyze the contemporary world and propose a more peaceful today and a bettertomorrow(Vers la sobriété heureuse, Trois amis en quête de sagesse, Qu'est-ce que le virtuel?).
Visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee, comfortably seated in a large armchair, with a book in hand. They can also work on the large table provided, or leave their children in the children's corner of the library. Upstairs, the Lab inno is a large space that transforms as conferences, master classes and children's workshops are held.
In short, it's a place where you can come empty-handed, enter for free, and leave enriched with ecological, economic, meditative and other hopes and insights.
