Fine Arts Paris, second edition at Carrousel du Louvre

From November 7 to 11, 2018, Carrousel du Louvre welcomes the Fine Arts Paris fair. A new meeting in the Parisian art calendar. Including a wonderful surprise: the catalog is given along with the admission ticket!

It’s a really young fair that met a first success. Created in 2017 by the Drawing Fair organizers in partnership with the Paris Tableau fair, the second edition of Fine Arts Paris expands this year with an outside-the-walls tour with sculptures.

In addition to a beautiful exhibition, a colloquium and most of all the presence of about forty art galleries and merchants from all over the world. Many pieces of modern art will be displayed in the contemporary setting of Carrousel du Louvre including this very beautiful painting by Emile Bernard, Le Soleil (1888).

On the menu then:

  • A selection of over 40 international art merchants
  • An exhibition called Peintres sculpteurs / Sculpteurs peintres, conducted in partnership with the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Orléans and the Musée Girodet in Montargis.
  • A scientific colloquium
  • New this year: La Semaine de la Sculpture, a unique outside-the-walls tour dedicated to sculpture in partnership with many Parisian museums (the Louvre, Petit Palais, Centre Pompidou, the Musée Zadkine, the Musée Bourdelle, the Musée Rodin, the Musée Maillol…). The idea? Discovering what happens in the storages of these Parisian institutions.

To be visited.
