Photo Days is the artsy event not to miss in Paris this fall. Join us from November 2 to 30, 2026, to discover the various exhibitions and events taking place at Parisian institutions and galleries.

We’re delighted to see Photo Days return this year, the must-see event set to bring Paris to life at the end of the year. From November 2 to 30, 2026, discover the various events taking place across the capital and admire a host of works by international artists. There’s plenty to enjoy!

For this seventh edition, Photo Days continues to reinvent itself. This year, visitors can enjoy several exhibitions, talks, guided tours and a host of events at the festival’s participating venues. Historical photography, emerging French and international talent, feminist activism, documentary photography, fashion, travel, nudes or landscapes, the absurd or the real: the works on show know no bounds and follow no rules beyond one—to delight, amaze, provoke thought and spark a reaction.

As always, visitors can enjoy meetings with photographers, guided tours, round-table discussions... Aspiring artists can also take advantage of free portfolio reviews and advice from professionals at the École des Arts Joailliers. This year, Photo Days has Agnès b. as its patron.

  • Study day
The World of Forms: The Photographic Agency’s Imaginary Museum (1946–2026), under the direction of Agnès Callu
Thursday, November 26, 9 a.m.–6:30 p.m., at the Petit auditorium at the Grand Palais
Under the direction of Agnès Callu, art historian and philosopher and holder of the GrandPalaisRmn Chair of Excellence “Research, Creation & Innovation,” this study day explores the status, functions and uses of photography. As artwork, tool, instrument, iconographic, iconological or iconic fragment, photography now occupies a central place in contemporary creation. Massively incorporated into museum collections and theatricalized and staged on the international art market, it has become a major subject of study at the intersection of artistic, heritage and cultural practices.
It will offer a critical, interdisciplinary, intermedial and international reading of the profound changes affecting the photographic medium in an age of global digitization, the rise of artificial intelligence and the transformations reshaping the cultural and creative industries.
