Forget the phone buzzing in your pocket: tonight, you’re the one who’ll be buzzing. With VIBRATION, we put an experience that begins with the body to the test. From November 6 to 21, 2026, Cirque Théâtre Bormann becomes a giant resonating chamber, just a few metres away from you on an almost circular stage.
It all begins before the dance floor. To get inside, you pass through a mist-filled airlock, a boundary between the street and the show. Notifications, the noise of the city, the workday: everything seems to stay on the other side.
We then discover the big top of the Cirque Théâtre Bormann. In this venue, where the Bormann family has kept the circus arts alive for eight generations, light and sound take over. The journey begins without instructions: we let ourselves be guided by the movements, the performers and the emotions.
Conceived by Margot Thiery, creator, director and choreographer, with Richard Bormann responsible for sound design and technical direction, VIBRATION is the result of three years of preparation.
In a daily life saturated with screens and distractions, VIBRATION invites audiences to reconnect with physical sensations. Solar Creation also aims to show how an intimate emotion can become a bond with others. Dance, circus performances and original music accompany this transition from the individual to the collective: emotions take shape in movement, then resonate with one another among the performers.
Dance and circus combine to form a single movement. The acrobatics are part of the whole, without turning into a succession of acts. The show aims for continuity and a build in intensity, rather than a series of feats.
The performers occupy the space all around the audience. A movement catches the eye in the foreground, a flash of light appears in the distance, a figure emerges elsewhere. This proximity gives the performance a physical dimension: the sound is felt as much as it is heard.
More than 30 performers, aged 11 to 58, share the stage. This meeting of generations fuels the show’s collective energy, one of its greatest strengths.
The story unfolds in three stages: the birth of an emotion, a struggle that grows in intensity, then a connection that brings the journey full circle. You can follow this progression without trying to interpret every gesture. VIBRATION is best experienced by letting go.
A short run. VIBRATION is playing for just a few evenings in November: the opportunity won’t come around again anytime soon.
VIBRATION delivers on its promise of immersion. For about an hour, bodies, sound and light combine to create an intense experience, brought to life by a generous ensemble. The performers’ closeness and commitment give the show its power: you leave shaken, in the best sense of the word.
Here, don’t expect a succession of acts, but an invitation to feel alive. This performance will particularly appeal to fans of contemporary dance, sound art and sensory performances. Audiences expecting traditional circus or a very explicit narrative may find it more disorienting. The high volume and intensity of the lighting should also be taken into account.
What stays with you is the collective energy inside a history-laden big top, and the feeling of being swept up in the movement. A night that lets you get out of your head for the duration of a show. If you love dance, sound art and performances that engage all the senses, go for it. It’s the perfect gift for loved ones—or for yourself: an experience to share rather than an object, to enjoy as a couple, with friends or with family.
