Why not take a trip to Paris with family or friends to discover the world of equestrian arts? From October 3, 2026 to March 28, 2027, the Alexis Gruss Company presents Les Folies Gruss at the Carrefour des Cascades, in Paris’s 16th arrondissement. For this new season, the company invites audiences into a brand-new venue specially designed for its shows. The program features an equestrian musical comedy and variety act, blending horses, music, acrobatics, and family traditions. A restaurant is also on site to extend the outing with lunch or dinner.
For over 50 years, the Alexis Gruss Company has kept alive an artistic heritage rooted in equestrian arts and family tradition. Generations of artists have joined the venture, with working with horses at its core.
This Paris season features a production that fuses equestrian artistry, live music, and acrobatic disciplines. The show gathers 50 horses on stage, a live orchestra, and a redesigned set for the new venue.
Each tableau brings together different artistic disciplines and stages the relationship between the performers and the horses. The musical dimension underpins the numbers, in a format that borrows from both the traditional arena show and musical theatre.
Among the highlights unveiled for this new season:
The season’s novelty also lies in the venue itself. Based at the Carrefour des Cascades, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the Folies Gruss’ new home was designed with the help of industrial partners and tailored to the company’s needs.
This state-of-the-art venue integrates, in particular, advanced sound and lighting systems, along with a set design tailored to the equestrian show. The aim is to boost visibility in the arena and bring spectators right up close to the action.
The venue thus accompanies the evolution of the show while preserving the elements that define the Gruss family’s identity: the horses, the performers, and the coming together of different disciplines in the arena.
Beyond the show, Les Folies Gruss tells the story of a family of artists. For more than half a century, the company has built its work on apprenticeship, discipline, and passing on the craft from one generation to the next.
Horses sit at the heart of this identity. The bond between humans and animals is one of the pillars of the company’s artistic work, which also foregrounds perseverance, respect for living beings, and a spirit of collective creation.
This family legacy keeps evolving with each show, while still playing a central role in new productions.
Les Folies Gruss also offer an experience combining dining and a show. Spectators can choose to enjoy a meal on site before the performance, turning this cultural outing into a full afternoon or evening.
The restaurant operates by reservation. Visitors can order their meal before arriving or choose from the à la carte menu on site. Food and drink are not included in the price of show tickets.
The company is also planning special evenings on December 24, 2026, December 31, 2026, and February 14, 2027, with menus and programs tailored to these occasions. A chance to plan an outing for the holiday season or Valentine’s Day.
