The Haunted House returns to the Palais des Glaces for the 2026–2027 season, from October 3, 2026, to January 10, 2027. Aimed at families with children aged 5 and up, this immersive musical show combines singing, dancing, magic and puppetry in a 360° setting. Performances are scheduled for Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays at 2 p.m.
Please note: the performance scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, has been canceled. The Palais des Glaces is exceptionally closing due to demonstrations planned in the area. Ticket holders should receive an email from the theater with details on rescheduling. The next performance listed on the show’s website is on Sunday, October 25, at 2 p.m.
The story follows Ely, who is nearing her 12th birthday when she moves into a strange house with her parents and grandfather. There, she meets Alfred, a ghost who takes her on an adventure in which coming of age and imagination take center stage.
For 1 hour and 20 minutes, nine actors, singers and dancers bring this story to life. Projections and visual and sound effects extend the set into the auditorium, immersing spectators in the heart of the house, beyond the confines of the stage.
The script and staging are by Nicolas Nebot, with music by Dominique Mattei. Already teamed up on Jules Verne, they are joined here by Patricia Delon for the choreography and Mehdi Garrigues for the puppets. The show won the 2026 Young Audiences Musical Theatre Award.
This revival is part of Paris’s All Saints’ Day and year-end season. For more ideas for children, check out our selection of shows to enjoy as a family.
