100% THE EXPO, a free and must-see art festival, will be taking over La Grande Halle de la Villette from April 8 to 26, 2026. Showcasing a diverse lineup of emerging young artists just out of school, this exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the future of art. Here’s what to expect.
It has become a cherished tradition in the Paris art scene and cultural calendar: La Villette hosts a youth-focused festival every year—a free event open to all. 100% L'Expo is a vibrant cultural showcase highlighting installations, sculptures, and photographs, showcasing the work of tomorrow’s leading artists. This year, the grand exhibition runs from April 8 to April 26, 2026.
A highlight of this festival, 100% L’Expo brings together around forty young artists who have just completed their studies for a multi-disciplinary group exhibition. It seamlessly blends visual arts, installations, cinema, videos, design, photography, fashion, and performances... For these artists, it’s a valuable opportunity to engage with the public, while for art schools, it’s a perfect platform to showcase their programs and career pathways.

Once again this year, some forty young talents, fresh out of French art schools, will be showcased. The Expo takes place at the Grande Halle, and is complemented by various artistic and festive events.
To respect our environment, the scenography of 100% L'EXPO is entirely made up of recycled elements, in line with the eco-responsible approach so dear to the institution and to these artists who often wonder about our future and that of the planet.

Alongside the artistic exhibit at La Villette, this 8th edition features a variety of performances and events to watch out for:
- MARAH HAJ HUSSEIN & NUR GARABLI
Lululululeesh
Dance • Song • Lectures
This project brings together two Palestinian artists, Marah Haj Hussein and Nur Garabli, collaborating for the first time. Marah grew up in Kofor Yassif and is now based in Antwerp, while Nur was born and lives in Ajami, Jaffa. In a context of ongoing dislocation, they seek to connect and forge bonds, sharing the collective realities of occupied Palestine while experiencing them from different vantage points. As choreographers, they confront the internalized violence embedded in their dance training, steeped in militaristic vocabulary, and aim to reinvent a language of movement that is uniquely theirs.
By weaving their journeys in a non-linear way, they resist fixed meanings of the past and predetermined futures. Marah and Nur draw on intimate transmissions from their mothers and grandmothers, embodying the ululation ("lulululeesh" in English). This piece questions how our experiences collide and overlap. It is an archaeological process—digging into our bodies as if excavating living material. It brings together contradictions and vulnerabilities, humor and tension.
