Do you know Add Fuel? If not yet, then you are likely to fall under the spell of his artistic universe on the occasion of his new exhibition in Paris. To be discovered free of charge from May 12 to June 17, 2023 at the Itinerrance Gallery, the exhibition " ITER " invites us to travel through its multiple patterns declined in its palette of iconic blues.
For Add Fuel, whose real name is Diogo Machado, is today known primarily for his reinterpretations of the language of traditional tile design, particularly that of the mythical Portuguese glazed ceramic.
His strength? To combine traditional decorative elements with contemporary visual references in order to propose new forms. He thus creates an accumulation of layers and techniques, offering us incredible works that are both ultra-aesthetic and poetic.
A unique style to be discovered this spring in Paris on the occasion of the new exhibition of Add Fuel. Entitled " ITER ", a Latin name for a journey, a course or an itinerary, this installation immerses us in the fascinating universe of this talented sculptor and illustrator.
As always Add Fuel is keen to sublimate the use of azulejos, but this time he combines different shades of blue, magnified by amazing touches of color... all to be discovered on different supports! So, ready to go on a journey to discover the artistic universe of Add Fuel?
See you from May 12 to June 17, 2023 at the Itinerrance Gallery. On the occasion of the exhibition " ITER ", note that a new silk-screen print will only be available at the opening, scheduled for May 12 at 6pm. Notice to collectors!
