Since 2021, theÉcole des Beaux-Arts, a prestigious academy around the world, has been offering art lovers the chance to take part in courses and become a student, forthe duration of a term. Have you always wanted to paint with a live model, explore yourself through self-portraiture or learn to draw from the works of the great masters? Then it's time to sign up for the winter session of the Nouvelle Académie des Amateurs des Beaux-Arts de Paris!
Open to all, NABA welcomes amateurs aged 16 and over, with classes starting on December 4, and running until March 9, 2024. You can register online, but courses at this legendary school are obviously not free. Expect to pay between 400 and 800 euros for a trimester session, with 12 classes lasting 2 to 4 hours. Places fill up fast, but fortunately, these sessions come back every year.
Classes run from Monday to Saturday, during the day and in the early evening, to suit everyone's schedule. On the program: ceramics, artistic anatomy or life model drawing, engraving, storyboarding, modeling, painting or digital photography, to learn the basics from recognized teachers or consolidate your practice.
