December is a month of festivities: Christmas and New Year's Eve, of course, but that's not all! Many people also celebrate St. Nicholas Day on December 6. The Musée Jean-Jacques Henner is organizing a whole weekend of festivities to mark the occasion, with various activities and events for the whole family.
Among the weekend's highlights, don't miss the Grand Bal de Noël, which takes place on Sunday afternoon, December 7, 2025 .
The museum is transformed into a ballroom, thanks to the musicians of the Pari(s) de Vents ensemble. This chamber music ensemble gets the dancers waltzing and swinging to lively, timeless tunes. Claire Duport, dancer and choreographer, guides us on the dance floor, teaching us the subtleties of the quadrille and charleston.
These dances of yesteryear are being given a new lease of life at the Musée Jean-Jacques Henner, which promises a convivial and festive occasion in the run-up to Christmas. Take to the dance floor and learn to master the quadrille and charleston. These dance moves will - without a doubt - make you shine on New Year's Eve!
The day before, on Saturday, December 6, the Jean-Jacques Henner Museum is offering another sporting activity with a more meditative focus: a yoga class for the whole family led by Camille Voituriez in the museum's galleries. This class is suitable for children aged 7 and up. To round off this festive weekend, the museum is also offering a storytelling tour for children and a creative Christmas decoration workshop.
Come and set the dancefloor alight and enjoy this St Nicholas Day celebration in Paris.
