To mark the 100th anniversary of the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, Maison Louis Vuitton presents its new free exhibition from September 26, 2025. Called Louis Vuitton Art Deco, this immersive installation sets up shop at LV Dream, the Maison's arty space just opposite La Samaritaine(Paris 1st), and is open by reservation Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 8pm.

Since its beginnings in 1854, Louis Vuitton has transformed travel into art with trunks and accessories that combine style and ingenuity. In the workshops of Asnières and the family home, craftsmanship goes hand in hand with inspiration, laying the foundations for a creativity that spans generations. In the early 20th century, Gaston-Louis Vuitton added his artistic touch, giving the House a resolutely creative and contemporary dimension. He collaborated with designers and artists such as Pierre-Émile Legrain, Camille Cless-Brothier and Gaston Le Bourgeois, and these partnerships, united under Éditions d'art, led to the House's apogee at the 1925 exhibition, a key moment that established Louis Vuitton in the history of Art Deco.

Leather, canvas and geometric lines meet along an itinerary that revisits this key moment and celebrates the Maison's contribution to Art Deco. The exhibition also spotlights Gaston-Louis Vuitton, grandson of the founder, whose creativity, always at the service of style and elegance, marked a turning point for the Maison.

More than 300 heritage items and archives, many of them previously unseen, are displayed in eight rooms, eight themes, eight stops:

• Family Heritage Room: An introductory space that shares the story of the family legacy and the creative spirit of Asnières, the birthplace of Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s inspiration.

• 1925: Louis Vuitton’s Triumph: An immersive recreation of the legendary 1925 Exposition stand, featuring dioramas and vintage photographs to immerse visitors in this historic moment of recognition.

• Art Deco Manifesto: suitcases, wardrobe trunks, geometric evening bags, and small leather accessories are showcased at their finest, blending craftsmanship with bold design.

• Elegance and Beauty at Louis Vuitton: transforming everyday items into art, featuring vanity sets, the Marthe Chenal box, and a nod to Jeanne Lanvin and Paul Poiret.

• The Art of Windows: a showcase of spectacular window displays and theatrical setups along the Champs-Élysées, paying tribute to the craft of display design by Gaston-Louis.

• Colors, Shapes, and Materials: a dazzling explosion of color, bold silhouettes, and luxurious textures—showcasing the vibrant visual DNA of Art Deco in all its glory.

• From Sketches to Ads: The Creative Journey : exploring how rough drafts transform into advertising campaigns, with octagonal shapes and stylized profiles serving as signature graphic elements.

• Beauty in Travel: a stunning finale combining 1920s archives with contemporary creations byNicolas Ghesquière, Pharrell Williams, Marc Jacobs, and Kim Jones.
