Monumental paintings and works several meters high are commonplace in museums. Artistik Rezo, on the other hand, has chosen to take the opposite path. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the gallery has teamed up with the Figure collective to present an unusual exhibition, to be discovered through a magnifying glass.
The Miniature exhibition, running from January 23 to March 5, 2025, invites us to admire tiny works, created on boards no larger than 5x5cm. More than 400 original works, created by almost 90 contemporary French and international artists, are displayed on the gallery walls.
Armed with a magnifying glass, like art detectives, visitors set off to discover these miniature paintings. This exhibition invites us to take the time to observe, to look for every detail, to admire the finesse and precision of the artist's work. It's an opportunity to plunge into a new universe or rediscover a beloved artist, to let yourself be carried away by this little world on display for one look at a time.
This unusual exhibition seems almost unreal, as if we've become giants in a fairy tale. Visitors, who are very tall indeed, find a child's soul as they explore these mini-universes.
With so many artists and works to discover, there's a huge variety of styles and worlds to enjoy. Photography, collage, painting, childlike or realistic styles, floral motifs and committed images, abstract art, cubism, surrealism... Each work is very different, and there's something for every sensibility.
For this exhibition, the Artistik Rezo gallery welcomes the creators of the Figure collective. We can admire the work of artists such as MonkeyBird, Bebar, Anna Saulle, Olivier Secretan, Fonk, Quentin DMR, Agatha Spleen, Siko, Jules Hidrot, Madame... and many others.
Have you fallen in love with one of the works on display? Good news: these can be purchased by visitors. Prices range from 10 to 150 euros. Time to redecorate...
Discovering the paintings through a magnifying glass is great fun. These hundreds of miniature works are impressively technical: some are smaller than a postage stamp, yet contain highly detailed works! You'll leap from one universe to the next with amusement, and a never-ending sense of surprise.
A free and original exhibition, to discover the work of contemporary artists in a different way. Don't miss this anniversary exhibition from Galerie Artistik Rezo!
