On June 6 and 7, 2026, the annual Mains d’avenir returns for its fourth edition. This free weekend invites you to explore the crafts of fashion and decoration through encounters, demonstrations and moments of exchange around the gestures that bring clothing, accessories and exceptional pieces to life.

Over these two days, visitors can take part in workshops, observe techniques up close, and ask questions of the professionals on hand. The event also provides information on training programs, career prospects, and retraining options in these fields.

This edition shines a light on nine crafts from the 19M resident Houses: millinery, embroidery design, embroidery, textile floral artistry, shoemaking, hardware and fittings, costume jewelry, pattern cutting and corsetry, and couture.

Round tables and master classes, led by journalists from Le Monde, round out the program. Artisans, players in the luxury sector and career-guidance specialists discuss the vocations, the challenges involved, and the realities of these professions.
