La Maison des Artistes is organizing a major weekend of open houses at artists' studios, art centers, schools and art spaces across France: on Saturday September 13 and Sunday September 14, 2025, art lovers and the curious can come and meet local artists.
More than 1,000 events are planned in major French cities for the first edition of National Artists' Days. In Paris and the Île-de-France region, there are almost 250 visual arts events, many of them free and open to all.
The aim of this weekend is to introduce you to contemporary designers, close to home. Visitors can chat with the artists, admire their work and learn more about their training paths. It's even an opportunity to take part in creative workshops, orbuy a work of art to redecorate your home. La Maison des Artistes also aims to shed light on the day-to-day life and difficulties that artists can regularly encounter.

Paris 5ème - 13 rue Santeuil
Césure, a former campus turned university "tiers-lieu", opens its doors wide. Conceived as a laboratory for the transmission of knowledge and know-how, Césure welcomes 200 occupants, 2,000 students and a large number of visitors every day, with a cultural and festive program, a canteen and an Emmaüs boutique. For the JNA, Césure's creators, craftspeople and associations invite you to discover the effervescence of their workshops!

Up to 100 artists, painters, sculptors, ceramists, craftsmen, mozai artists, welcome you to the market on Sunday, September 14, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Le Shakirail opens its doors to allow visitors to discover the artists' studios and an exhibition of the permanent artists present for the event, as well as various performances.
- Atelier Pericó - Guët Versailles

Visit the studio of a couple of artists, located in the historic Saint-Louis district of Versailles, 150 meters from the château. An atypical place, "in its juice", with smells of turpentine, oil paint, wax and varnish. Works hanging on the walls, paintings in progress, curious objects displayed everywhere, and a library of painting books immerse the visitor in a timeless atmosphere.

Le Ventre de la Baleine is entered via a long corridor, before becoming lost in a maze of over 3,000 m², privately owned by the Sablé family for three generations. A former factory, it was renovated in 1989 by visual artists from the Beaux-Arts school. This unusual site has become an independent center for artistic creation, housing over 40 visual artists' studios and 38 music studios.

On the occasion of the Journées Nationales des Artistes organized by the Maison des Artistes, the temporary occupancy space La Krèmerie opens its doors on the afternoon of September 13, 2025 from 3pm to 7pm. There will be a group exhibition and guided tours of the studios of the 7 participating artists!

Collective exhibition of artists as part of the Chemin des ateliers d'artistes et artisans d'art de la Vallée de la Gartempe organized by the Gartempe 206 association. Some of the artists present will be giving performances.
