Warning: photography not allowed... and do not touch... and if this time, could we? From May 21 to 24, 2026, a feminist exhibition that unsettles the viewer flips the script and invites us to discover interactive, even participatory works in the heart of Paris at the Vie Project gallery. Free to attend, "Ne Pas Toucher" seeks to engage visitors in a playful way to raise awareness for a very serious cause. This artistic exploration, conceived by Sidonie Gaychet, Martina Margaux and Daniella McNulty, dwells on the body, censorship, the notion of consent, and the mechanisms of resistance.
Because this engaged exhibition is a response to the rise of attacks on works by feminist or pro-feminist artists. To raise public awareness on the issue, " Ne Pas Toucher" invites you to discover interactive pieces that reserve a few traps, infused with humor and irony. Several international artists join in to create this safe space in which paradoxes await you. The lineup includes Camille Aumont Carnel, project ambassador, Karen Daye Hutchinson, Esmeralda Da Costa, Holly Elizaveta, Yu Lin Humm, Sophia Lang, Beka Magyarlaki, Martina Margaux, Daniella McNulty, Sandra Reinflet, Sofi Stern and Olga Szynkarczuk.
Throughout the run of the exhibition, a program aims to animate the space with performances, concerts, and a talk. For example, visitors will be able to catch shows by Pandora Nox, the first female-born winner of RuPaul's Drag Race, as well as DJ sets by Gonthier & Friends. By the same token, the launch event—the preview on May 21, 2026, from 6:30 to 10:00 pm—will be open to the general public.
This marks the opening date of a series of exhibitions designed to shine a light on this cause in an educational, accessible way, presenting a measured, light-hearted response to these targeted acts of destruction.
